Practitioners were once considered merely highly manipulatively skilled individuals. Today their skills and knowledge go well beyond those boundaries to include numerous segments within the career pathway.

Students enrolled in the Sports Therapy and Exercise Science program will learn Safety, Legal and Ethical Issues related to Patient Care; Effective Oral and Written Communication; Infection Control; Emergency Care and First Aide; Moving, Lifting, Positioning, and Body Mechanics; Nutrition and Hydration; Basic Clinical skills; Mental Health and Wellness; Rehabilitation and Restorative Care; Medical Terminology; Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology.
